It's the end of the 1950s in Spain and two single and thirty-something friends, Miguel, a draftsman from the provinces, and Antonio, the only child of a wealthy architect, are lured from Madrid to Ibiza by the European sexual myth and the excitement of freedom.
Once on the island, they discover a community of 'castaways', an eccentric, isolated group of characters. Very soon they'll find themselves becoming castaways too.
While Antonio adds amorous feats to his list, Miguel will go from enjoying a romance with Odette, a French girl, to undertaking an unexpected odyssey in Barcelona because of an unwanted pregnancy.
