Lídia Muñoz (64), a retired physician, has lived in Barcelona since 1978 when she was forced to flee Argentina after a paramilitary group led by the dictator ruling the country in those years tried to kidnap her and make her disappear. The reason? She was part of a group of left-wing guerrilla groups. Forty years later, in Barcelona, she receives a petition from the Argentine Ministry of Justice to declare in a trial on the kidnapping and subsequent disappearance of Oscar Medina, her partner in 1978. She will discover that she and Oscar had been betrayed by one of their best friends, Jorge Ramos, who was collaborating with the repressors. Lídia decides to confront Jorge to try to heal the wounds of the past that still torment her.
