Mercy

When Amireh, the matriarch of a British-Iranian immigrant family goes missing in London, her family is thrust into an offbeat spiritual journey, where old world traditions and new world upbringings collide.
Mercy deals with the generational gaps between families and their descendants who immigrated West after the '79 revolution, covering tradition, religion and most importantly, love. Written in non-linear fashion, the story is told through the prism of an end-of-life decision, bringing into question the very nature of the soul.
