Eternal forests and snowy mountains ... It's the last third of the 19th century and in a valley up in the north of Navarre the last Carlist war is coming to an end... A projectile destroys a girls' hospice leaving only one little girl alive. The girl, badly wounded, is rescued by a beautiful woman who takes care of her until she recovers. However, fate is not on her side, and as a result of an unexpected attack to their hiding place, the girl finds herself, once again, alone and isolated in the mountains. She will then discover her new and strange condition, which will prevent her from seeing the light of day, and having a normal life like any other girl.
