The Past is a Mistake

Sisters Anna and Laia Pantinat, together with Lula Thomas, make up Pentina't Lula, the Rrrrriot Ladies of Barcelona's underground scene. They catalyse the trauma of having suffered an absolutely anachronistic musical education by making short songs that sound like garage-punk and boast transgressive and ironic lyrics that speak in favour of feminism and the freedom of expression. From a perspective of self-management and cooperativism, they want to build the Catalan new wave and just laugh at it all.
