Estela is a 38-year-old Colombian woman who leaves her country to make a living in Spain and to obtain enough money to pay a Medical Degree for her 19-year-old son. Soon she will meet Montserrat, an 80-year-old Catalan woman, whom she will take care of and with whom she will create emotional bonds by helping each other in their problems through the ideas of Montserrat on the feminist claim and the workers' struggle in which she participated actively during the Franco regime. This learning will give Estela the strength to to stand up and solve their problems both at work and in her entrenched love relationship.
