Thirty years ago, Hernando Toro found his calling: to portray the underclass. In his photography studio, located in a prison in Barcelona where he himself was incarcerated for drug trafficking, he learned how to see humans beyond their crimes. Today, at a pension in Bogotá, he explores the soul of the excluded, and refuses to die as an artist in the midst of anonymity.
