Sigena, the Magic of a Dream

Hoping to rebuild the Monastery of Sigena chapterhouse, a twelfth-century building that suffered fire damage during the Spanish Civil War, Juan Naya, astrophysicist and resident of Villanueva de Sigena, sets in motion an almost impossible project. He begins with memories and scarce documentation: some black and white photographs taken just before the fire and the withered remains of a few paintings. But is there more information out there? And what techniques should be used to recreate the room correctly? What colours could instil those paintings with life? And most intriguing of all are those parts that have gone missing over the years. What to do with them?
