In Cuba, long distance calls are really expensive and very few have internet connection at home. But recently, a Wi-Fi connection has been set up throughout all of the main squares in every town in the country.
In the popular Plaza de la Iglesia in San Antonio de los Baños, people of all ages and backgrounds come to share two things: this central square's Wi-Fi connection and a seat on its benches. But actually, they're sharing their private conversations... These are, as the Cubans say, “the perks of progress”.
On 14 February, the square becomes a roller coaster of emotions because no one misses the chance to call their loved ones living abroad on Valentine's Day.
